Welcome to the day 3 of the General Motors diet plan. If you’ve successfully completed the first two days of the diet without cheating, you’ll surely lose upto 4 to 6 pounds by today. On this day, you’re allowed to eat both vegetables and fruits excluding Bananas and Potatoes.
How to Prepare Your Body for GM Diet Day 3?
The GM diet followers are only allowed to eat vegetables and fruits on the third day. Since you’re depending solely on fruits and veggies, which you’re not used to, you’ll experience a slight headache on this day. So, it is advised to increase your water intake by 2 glasses (total 10 glasses) on this day.
Also, try to perform some breathing exercises before starting the day 3 diet (in the morning) as it will help in releasing the tensions garnered from first and second days.
Note: Don’t drink any fruit juices on this day as you’ll be getting lots of sugar. Try to eat them raw for better results.
GM Diet Day 3 Foods [Allowed]
You can eat unlimited amount of fruits and vegetables on this day excluding Potatoes and Bananas. You can either prepare a vegetable/fruit salad or eat them separately either in boiled or raw form. Try to include more melon in your diet.
Sample Diet Plan for Day 3
Let us now look at the sample meal plan with the suggested foods.
Breakfast (8 to 9 AM): 1 cup of diced Apple or 1 bowl of Watermelon and 2 glasses of water.
Mid-morning Snack (10 to 11 AM): 1 bowl of Papaya + Cantaloupe and 2 glasses of water.
Lunch (12 to 1 PM): 1 bowl of Cabbage soup or vegetable salaad and 1 glass of water.
Afternoon Snack (4 to 5 PM): 1 Orange/Kiwi/Sweet Lime or 1 bowl Watermelon and 2 glasses of water.
Dinner (6 to 7 PM): 1 bowl of Cabbage soup or vegetable salaad and 1 glass of water.
Make sure that you finish your dinner by 7PM and have at least 8 hours of sleep.
