Welcome to the day 5 of the General Motors diet plan. Today is a big surprise for you. Unlike the other days (1 to 4) where you’ll be eating just fruits and vegetables, on this day you can eat meat. Yes! You heard it right! You’re allowed to eat beef along with tomatoes. Beef is a very rich source of protein and fiber and you don’t have to consume it in large quantities to fulfill your appetite. So, you’ll be getting less fat and more proteins by eating beef and tomatoes.
How to Prepare Your Body for GM Diet Day 5?
Just like the fourth day where the followers are allowed to have milk and bananas, on the fifth day they should only fix to beef and tomatoes. Like the last day, the loss of appetite will continue to this day too, which is why it is suggested to eat only small servings of beef during the meals. When beef mixed with tomatoes will taste good.
You can perform some strenuous activities on this day since you’ll be having enough strength to do so on this day, thanks to the meat.
GM Diet Day 5 Foods [Allowed]
You can eat up to 500gms of beef and 6 fresh tomatoes on this day. Whenever you feel hungry, you can drink water to suppress your appetite.
Sample Diet Plan for Day 5
Let us now have a look at the sample meal plan for Day 5 of the General Motors diet.
Breakfast (8 to 9 AM): 1 bowl of soup made with beef and tomatoes + 2-3 glasses of water.
Lunch (12 to 1 PM): 1 baked hamburger patty with tomatoes and 2-3 glasses of water.
Dinner (6 to 7 PM): 1 bowl of soup (beef and tomatoes) + 2-3 glasses of water.
Note: On this day, you’ll need to increase the intake of water from 8-10 glasses to 10-12 glasses. So, try to consume enough water in between the meals too. Doing so will help in getting rid of unnecessary nutrients provided by the beef.
The day 5 diet helps you retain the Iron, Fiber and Protein which you missed on Day 1, day 2, day 3 and day 4.
